A tiny tabby kitten, just two weeks old, was brought to a clinic in Florida with serious injuries. Tragically, she only had two legs, as both her front legs were badly injured. The cause of the accident was unclear, but this determined little kitten showed a strong will to live.

Duck was brought to my sister’s clinic where a talented surgeon saved her life by performing a double amputation,” shared Duck’s human on social media. “We suspect she may have been seeking warmth in a car’s engine bay.”
After a successful surgery, Duck needed a foster home where she could receive proper care, recover at her own pace, and adapt to her new life on two legs.
“After bringing her into my home as a foster, she settled into her new surroundings with ease,” Duck’s owner recounted. “She wasted no time in exploring every corner of the house on her own.”“It didn’t take long for me to realize that my fostering plans had turned into a permanent adoption. Witnessing her determination and resilience, despite her small size, I was smitten. Nothing can hold her back.”
This tiny cat quickly captured the hearts of her foster family and soon became a beloved addition to their bustling household, which also includes three dogs, another cat, and six hens.
Before too much time had passed, she mastered the art of walking on two legs and balancing with her tail, giving her the appearance of a T-Rex and earning her the playful moniker of Purrasic Duck.
Ducky is a cheerful feline who loves to roam around the house, investigating every corner and crevice. Although her owners initially got her some wheels and a cat harness to assist her in moving around, she was not keen on using them and much rather prefers to rely on her own two legs for mobility.
At just six months of age, Duck’s family is convinced that she is the speediest kitten on two feet ever seen!
Despite being smaller in size compared to the other dogs in the house, Duck enjoys spending time observing and learning tricks from them. This has led her to believe that she is part of their dog pack.
Duck continues to impress others with her incredible strength and determination, serving as a source of inspiration for all who have the pleasure of meeting her. This lovely striped feline brings endless happiness to her loving family, and it warms the heart to witness the strong bond she shares with her fellow furry siblings – and even the chickens!
