Over the weekend, a cute little pup was found stranded on a highway near Wamego. Luckily, someone stumbled upon the poor thing and took it in. The abandoned puppy has now been adopted into a loving home and will no longer have to suffer alone on the road.
During their trip to Manhattan, the staff members of Coleman Electric stumbled upon a young pup confined in a vehicle carrier. With the help of the drivers, Matt McMillan and Steve McLean managed to signal the double-deck truck carrying the car and brought it to a halt to rescue the helpless animal.
Following the successful rescue, Mcmillan took it upon himself to care for the dog while on duty at the work site. Karmel, a delightful 4-month-old puppy, is a crossbreed of a retriever and labrador.
According to Mcmillan, the puppy we discovered was extremely affectionate and chose to sit at your feet. It appeared that the puppy needed some time to rest and recover since it had slept for most of the previous two days.
If you have any information on the body discovered in west Wichita, you could now receive a substantial cash reward from Crime Stoppers. Apparently, Mcmillan was unable to cope with the loss of one of his dogs and felt he couldn’t continue living without her.
Mcmillan took his furry friend to get microchipped last Tuesday, but unfortunately, the original owners declined to take her back when they were reached out to. It’s worth noting that the dog was adopted from a shelter in Manhattan initially.
